We are looking for an experienced person in Software Configuration Management for an operation within the defense industry. You will be a central part of the software deliveries and responsible for the entire configuration management chain in close collaboration with development teams and release functions. The role suits you if you have a good technical understanding of embedded software and thrive in a coaching and guiding function where structure, traceability, and quality are in focus.

• Be responsible for and drive all phases of Software Configuration Management: planning, identification, change management, control, reporting, and auditing
• Support the team in work related to Continuous Integration, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Participate in project activities related to milestones and release management
• Assist in evaluating milestones and preparing for releases
• Ensure the status of software and software components before release
• Drive and support necessary actions in connection with software releases
• Review and support the creation of software documentation, such as Software Control Document and Software Version Description
• Coach the development team in Configuration Management and version control
• Be responsible for training and support regarding version control according to established practices
• Set up source code structure in version control systems in line with PDM article numbers
• Define software builds with names, labels, and versions related to PDM
• Set up and maintain CI/CD flows and software builds
• Support workflows for software components regarding code sharing and configuration management

• 3–7 years of experience in Software Configuration Management
• Experience with embedded software
• Good experience with DevOps and CI/CD environments
• Practical experience with Jenkins
• Practical experience with Bitbucket
• Practical experience with Artifactory or similar platforms
• Experience from defense-related or other security-critical operations
• Very good communication skills in Swedish

• Experience working with PDM connections for versioning and traceability
